Artist's Comments

I should have written this entry a long time ago, but I kept putting it off. Finally I finished it! I actually researched about procrastination, read numerous journals on this topic... and realized why I often procrastinate about aspects of my professional and creative work. Now I should be getting back to what I was doing...

This sounds like a dumb question . . . is that a blank page notebook? And do you lay out the format on something else before drawing it on the final page? Sorry for my ignorance.

Yes, it's made on a blank page notebook (a Moleskine plain notebook actually) as all the rest of my drawings/sketches before this. I do layout the general format first before inking, so I'll get to know how much text I can put in (or in some cases the graphics). There are entries that are more text heavy than graphics.

oh my, I do the same thing...procrastinate (As I should be getting ready for work now instead of typing here....ahhh!)

Everybody does it... but y'know... it pays to give attention to it and wonder why you procrastinate about work.

Dang it! I knew it wasn't just me!
Perfectionism IS a reason for procrastination.

Haha! Yeah it is! You want everything to be perfect, waiting for the perfect opportunity (which might not come at all) and you end up doing nothing at all!

Eeek, Moleskine!
